Thoroughly immersed in (and enjoying) Mobile Photography

When my husband gave me an iPhone at the end of 2010, it's potential as an ever present camera (forget communication!) was apparent immediately. I certainly wasn't wrestling with  my beloved Nikon every day; I was too busy wrestling with my lively bag of eels (children). Oh, and the ability to edit on the hoof literally sang to me.

It wasn't until a year later that I started using Instagram (suddenly remember communication!) This has opened the door to some amazing work by Mobile Street, Fine Art and Documentary Photographers. Plus some great feedback, support and generosity in knowledge sharing.

The social networks i'm updating most frequently are Instagram (awozy if accessing via the app or http://www.statigr.am/awozy) and EyeEm (awozy via the app or http://www.eyeem.com/awozy).

I still adore my SLR (and the simple beauty of my prime 50mm!) I still want an X100! But that said, i'm definitely, completely, totally immersed in personal photography projects on a daily basis through using my mobile phone. I'm just not too sure my husband still thinks it was a good idea giving me the phone ;)
